What I'm Eating

Sometimes I share what I'm reading. But I thougt I'd share what I'm eating. The nine hour trip from DC to Indy was long, but a Steak 'n Shake definitely helped pass the time. Why don't we have those in DC?

And in case you care, we've eaten at two of my other favorite restuarants while in Indy--Buca Di Beppo and PF Chang's. Tried to get into Weber Grill but it was a 90 minute wait!

Now you know what I'm digesting.

My Grandma loves that place but she's 90 now and she doesn't get out much these days. I can remember going there with her when I was a kid. Good times...

What are 3 resturants that my family likes.
I really like Bucca Di Beppo, it is something nice about garlic and being served family style. Just a good time.

Oh, and even though we are much smaller than DC here at the beach, we do have a steak and shake... enjoy your vacation!

Steak-N-Shake definately rocks! Mark...check out Weber Grill in Chicago...there is one on Wabash downtown or another out towards Naperville! The food is GREAT! Also, you cannot leave Chicago without Garrett's Popcorn.
Enjoy your preaching vacation!

mark,
Thanks for speaking at GCC tonight. I have loved your book for a while now. I worked through it with Mark Beeson last spring and some close friends. It is marked up pretty good. Tonight's message was once again challenging on a couple of levels. We are heading into our school year with student ministry and some "lions" are staring us down.
Luckily we have some new leadership with a former Notre Dame football player, so he knows OFFENSE really well.
Thanks again for coming to Granger.

Being in a rural setting in the mountains, I have wondered what I would have to offer the 'world' via electronic communications. After digesting your presentation Tuesday at Indy, I have realized that each of us have something to offer. There are people scattered around the nation and across that world that have similar experiences as us, and are, by virtue of those experiences, attracted to our message. Thanks for being obedient...and challenging the status quo.
