Blogging
I am more and more convinced that blogging is a postmodern spiritual discipline. It's the way I write down the Revelation (Habakkuk 2:1). It's the way I ponder things in my heart like Mary in Luke 2:19. It's a form of cyber-meditation. Blogging is one way I reflect on life and the Lord ala II Timothy 2:7. I had a thought the other day. Someday my grandchildren will know what I was doing and thinking on any given day because I was blogging. I wish my grandfather had blogged. All I have is a Bible with some notes in the margin! Blogging is autobiography. It is one is one way I live and learn.

Mark - So true! Writing down your thoughts and opening them up to others is clearly the way the Spirit moves through us.
A thought occurred to me...perhaps a tangent to yours. Think about the words we lose in emails, etc. How easy is it to throw away emails that are routine today but would be precious to our children or grandchildren? Or what about the corrections that never appear crossed out--the words you almost said? Ever read David McCallough's _John Adams_? Think of all those letters preserved! I wish we had the same mindset of preserving what passes through our minds, especially when we write to others. I think it could be a testament to our lives and help others on the same path but in a different time. I suppose it's not dissimilar to Biblical writers who wrote down what God put in their lives and on their heart and mind.
I love that analogy of perserved letters! By the way, I write annual letters to my kids and I'll give them to them when they turn eighteen.
Mark, just wanted to let you know I've linked to this post here ...
